The knowledge is for everyone regardless of personal faith or beliefs. Songs and wisdom are shared as a way to inspire and uplift one's spirit and brighten one's day, bringing more happiness and fulfillment to our lives, and, through each of us, greater peace and joy to the world. Fairfield Spiritual Center is based on New Thought Ageless Wisdom teachings, but one does not need to hold to these principles. We honor and recognize the beauty in all religions, while celebrating and rejoicing in the One Divinity.
New Thought is not an organization. It is a mental attitude. Even though New Thought does not adhere to any particular dogma or doctrine, some core beliefs are: 1. God or Infinite Intelligence is "supreme, universal, and everlasting." 2. Divinity dwells within each person, that all people are spiritual beings. 3. Divine thought is a force for good. 4. The highest spiritual principle is loving one another unconditionally. From "Nothing Is Too Good to Be True," by John Randolph Price: Fundamental Principle of New Thought:"There exists an infinite and eternal spiritual principle of Being." Definition of New Thought: "The recognition, realization, and manifestation of God in me." Contemplations: There is a Presence and Power within me. It is all-knowing, all-caring, all-loving, all-powerful. It is the Completeness of the universe individualized as me. It is who I am. It is God as me now. God IS. God is the one universal Presence and Power, the Cosmic Heart of Love, expressing as all that is good, true, and beautiful in life. I am that Expression. I and the Spirit of God are One. I am God being me, and God loves Itself as me.
Universal Life holds the basic belief that we are all children of the same universe and has two core principles:
Do only that which is right.
Every individual is free to practice their religion in the manner of their choosing, so long as that expression does not impinge upon the rights or freedoms of others and is in accordance with the government’s laws.
